Ok I want a maximum of $350...and I already have 2gb of ram that will fit the motherboard I want...I was planing on windows vista....it runs at 1024 by 768.

You're taking a major risk buying an "Open Box" motherboard. For $5 more you can get a NEW Gigabyte board:

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128347 $79.99

Hitachi hard drives aren't famous for reliability. You'd be better off with a Western Digital or Seagate.

Rosewill is not a quality PSU manufacturer as was pointed out earlier.

Here's a build that comes in at your budget if you take the MIR's into account. If you absolutely have to lower the price you can go with your original case and PSU, but I wouldn't recommend it. The PSU is the most important component in the build IMO because if it blows up there's a very good chance it will take other hardware with it. It's best to avoid Rosewill PSU's at all costs.

Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116072 $82.99

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128347 $79.99

Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136098 $49.99

GIGABYTE GV-R467D3-512I Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125244&Tpk=GV-R467D3-512I $75.99 - $20.00 MIR

Antec Three Hundred Black Computer Case - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042 $49.95

PC Power & Cooling Silencer PPCS370X 370W ATX12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703018 $49.99 - $15.00 MIR

Total - $388.90 - $35.00 MIR's = $353.90

This may be just outside of your budget, but is much better all around. Hopefully the budget can stretch just a little for quality components. It will definitely be worth it.

The only place I can see saving a little money would be with the case/psu. I really like the Antec 300/PC Power & Cooling combo. If the budget just plain won't allow that, the combo that Newf posted earlier will save a few bucks and should work fine for this setup.

If you put the build I posted above in Newf's case the total becomes $363.91 - $20.00 MIR = $343.91

what if I had this:

Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80571E5200 - Retail

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

GIGABYTE GV-R467D3-512I Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card

Nippon Labs 1M (3.28 ft.) one right ANGLE CABLE Model SATA-1MR - Retail

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

Antec NSK4480 Black/ Silver 0.8mm cold-rolled steel construction ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 380W Power Supply - Retail

You shouldn't need the extra SATA cable. The motherboard comes with at least two SATA cables. I think the last Gigabyte board I ordered came with four, but I may be wrong.

Is saving $13 on the HD worth getting a slower drive with 1/4 the capacity? If it is, I guess that HD is fine. I'd pick the 320GB drive any day. The 320GB drives have the same data density as the very popular 640GB drives which means they are considerably faster than that 80GB drive.
