Routing power behind motherboard

Just a quick question regarding routing the PSU cables behind the motherboard. When you do this, do you need to do anything to secure the cables, or just let the motherboard hold them down?

cables are routed behind the mobo tray, not just the mobo. better to have them organised and secured but not essential

Yeah, you definitely don't want to pin them between the mobo and tray, that would be a very large mistake, probably resulting in a cracked mobo or short, depending on the cables.
