i overclocked my AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 620 Processor to a 3.25ghz using a stock heat-sink. it runs at 26 C on idle and using prime95 for 1 hour it hits 59C doing a torture test ,i have the voltage at stock settings 1.3750v //.at least thats what core temp says at the VID.//
this is inside a antec 300 case with all 5 fans used even the side fan thats because it helps cool my northbridge by 8-12c

it really never went higher then 54c in gaming for 3 hours on grand theft auto 4,usually stays at 38-32c during basic tasks

not to mention when i"m done playing a game my CPU temp goes down at 10-15c a minute

i really don't want to spend more money on cooling this PC,, is their any other thing i can do to lower my temps or is it fine where it is.

NOTE: only reason i mention the side fan is because people say it makes other components on the PC run hotter but when i take it off it gets components (cpu, northbridge, gpu)
i really wish i could lower my voltage on the cpu but people said not to because its not reliable
i even had it at 1.3475 it work fine on prime 95 for a hour, then a mouth later BSOD on age of empires 3-------weird on a game that makes this CPU run at 30%

sorry for all that info just want to know if i"m safe or not

59C is fine. How long did you Prime95 test (to determine stability) and are you using large FFT?
