Hey guys. I'm going off to college and as a graduation present I have 1500 dollars to spend on a new pc. If anyone could offer me any suggestions to get the best out of my money, it would be really appreciated. Thank you.

It would help us a little more if you would state your uses (ex. gaming, video editing, multitasking, etc...) Also do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS. One more thing are you from the USA, Canada, UK or where?

Also, what are your skills? Can you assemble the PC yourself from parts and software?

it appears you want desktop but also can you verify that is what you want and not a notebook? to add to drippyf and modom the more details the easier the help will be. there is a big difference between recommendations based on usage and your ability to build it.
