Micro Server build.

I have been running an old pc out of my house for quite some time as a web server. I have the speed and today got a stack of 5ips from my isp. I run a couple of sites, nothing big but am about to lanch one which is a tad bit server intensive so i decided it's time to build a server.

The catch is is that the system needs to be a small form factor. Ive compiled a full systen at newegg starting with a small barebones from shuttle.

Here is the Newegg wishlist: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=9226791

1x - Shuttle SX48P2 E Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel X48 Black Barebone - Retail -- $469.99

1x - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail -- $184.99

4x - Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM -- $167.96

2x - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail -- $79.98

1x - JATON Video-PX8400GS_LX GeForce 8400 GS 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Low Profile Video Card - Retail -- $38.99

1x - LG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE Model GH22NP20 - OEM -- $21.99

The total is: $963.9

Opinions? Will this run? I belive it will but this will be my first build. Anything i need to know?

More about micro server build
  1. The list would work together (except the shuttle case will only hold 3HDDs plus the DVD)
The barebones Shuttle you've picked is for a high-end gaming system. Or did you choose it for the RAID Support?
And that Shuttle (@ 12.8" x 8.7" x 8.3") isn't all that small. If space is really important consider a measure or mock-up test.

    What about a MicroATX Case (7.9" x 13.2" x 10.6") instead?
Antec NSK1380 MicroATX Case 350W PSU $120 and GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-DS2H G45 Micro ATX MB $125 (and $20 rebate
Saves you $245 (a/r) and also saves you $39 since you don't need a video card with the G45 MB.

Both the Shuttle and Antec cases will only hold 3 HDDs plus the DVD burner.
Change out the IDE burner for a SATA model while you're at it.
