I'm building a computer for my friend.
I install the drivers on Vista 32bit system, and upon rebooting the computer, just after the windows boot screen, the screen goes black, and then the display stops detecting the computer.
I've tried drivers 8.12, 8.7beta, and the (bad) packaged drivers.

Western Digital 500gb
Vista Premium 32bit
Asus HD4850 TOP
Asus p5q mobo
Generic IDE DVD-W burner
Sound Blaster Audigy
Corsair 750w PSU
Antec 900 Case

Turns out it was the monitor or monitor cable. The 4850 has trouble with certain monitors or fries cables or something.
