Okay, I am at a loss on this one. I plan on using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131365 for my motherboard and currently have this as my memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227381

What I want to know is if this is compatible, not only that, am I getting my money worth or should i drop down to DDR 1333? This is the last component that I need confirmation on, I dont want to go build my computer to find out that this RAM screws me over... Thank you in advance!

I've used that Ram with that board many times. Like in all i7 builds you'll have to overclock it to get to the 1600 speed, and will have to set the timings manually, but it will perform nicely with that MB as long as you get a working MB.

If you dont mind me asking (i'm fairly new to overclocking, i've built computers and am a gamer, but overclocking I have never dabbled in.) How would I do this, what settings would i look for?

every build is different...thats the art of overclocking. What works on one will not work on another. Just be ready to spend an afternoon of trial and error. Toms has some good articles on the basics of overclocking, but unfortunately nobody can tell you what parameters to punch in.
