I have recently switched my laptop over to Linux (Ubuntu). Problem is I have finally got ubuntu to see the network and other computers. (they are running windows) But I can't access the other computers. Every time I try I get the error message "failed to retrieve share list from server" What does this mean and how do I fix it. Moving files with a 100MB zip drive really sucks.

bump I could sure use some help with this. Doesn't anyone know what this error message means? I guess I can go to the Linux board.
