Is this a good computer? Please post some helpfull advice :D All advice is welcome ;)

I would swap the IDE optical drives for SATA models. I'd also avoid Hitachi HD's. They aren't known for quality drives. You're better off with either Western Digital or Seagate drives.

Is this a pre-built computer, or are you building it yourself. Where are the components being purchased from? What is the main purpose of this computer? It looks like a gaming computer, but what else will it be used for?

That's a pretty expensive motherboard. The latest benchmarks show the P45 chipset pretty much matching the X38 & X48 chipsets when running in crossfire. You might want to consider a high-quality P45 chipset board like the Asus P5Q Pro or Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P.

Im going to build it myself. And I havend ordered the components yet. Im going to order them on www.alternate.nl.
The main purpose of this computer is programming, gaming, downloading, building websites etc.

This is my Idea: HDD 1 and HDD 2 are in RAID 0

HDD 1: - XP 40 GB
- Vista 50 GB together: 80 GB 2x HDD = 160 GB
- Programming 70 GB

HDD 2: - Games 225GB
- Data 1 215GB together: 320 GB 2x HDD = 640 GB
- Data 2 210GB

HDD 3: - Backup 800GB

I hope this helps you :)

I meant this Idea: HDD 1 and HDD 2 are in RAID 0

HDD 1:

Partition 1: Windows XP - 40 GB
Partition 2: Windows Vista - 50 GB
Partition 3: Windows XP or Vista + Programming 70 GB

In this RAID 0 I use 2x 80 GB HDD.

HDD 2:

Partition 1: Games & Saves - 225 GB
Partition 2: Data 1 - 215 GB
Partition 3: Data 2 - 210 GB

In this RAID 0 I use 2x 320 GB HDD.

HDD 3: Backup
