Hi!
I have a problem with my system. Some days ago, I bought some hardware items to make a new PC.
* Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 - Socket AM2+ - Chipset AMD 790X + SB600 - ATX
* Athlon 64 X2 5600+ - 2,8 GHz, Cache L2 2 MB Socket AM2
* Memory PC Aeneon 2 x 2 GB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 CL4
* Radeon HD 4670 - 512 MB GDDR3 - PCI-Express 2.0

But when I join all items and turn on the power switch nothing happens besides the cpu fan and video adapter fan working.
I don’t hear any sound (beep) from the motherboard indicating any problem.
I put correctly join the power cable, I didn’t forced any other cable.
What can be the problem?
Thanks for any help.
Rui

Did you remember to plug in the 4/8-pin CPU power connector near the CPU socket in addition to the 24-pin motherboard power connector? That's got to be the most commonly missed item. The CPU power connector on that motherboard has a cover over four pins.

What model PSU do you have?

Thanks shortstuff_mt and all people that try to solve the problem.
That was the problem, I forgot to put the cpu power cable.
The last time I made a PC from several pieces I had only one power cable for both board and cpu, so I thought that only the 24 pins cable was necessary.
Thanks one more time.
