Has anyone successfully stabilized a unlocked unstable phenom 2? I'm having some form of issue I can get my cores unlocked, 0 1 2 3 but core 1 isn't stable on prime95. It stops and gives a rounding error but the other 3 cores continue on with the stablility test.

System Specs:
Asus M4A77TD
Phenom 2 555 Black Edition CACAC AC 1008 DPMW
ADATA 1333G DDR3 Ram
Windows 7 64x
zalman 9500 heatsink

What are your voltages at? Unlocking the dormant cores usually requires a voltage bump.

I have my vcore voltage up to 1.4 and my vddnb up to 1.35 core 1 still gave a rounding error. Even with running 3 cores 0 1 2, 0 1 3. Same results cpu 1 isn't stable. When i try and run 0 2 3 i cant get past post. Says unleashing failed BUT running dual core with acc off and 0 1 cores are at defaults i can OC up to 4.0 at 1.45Vcore and stable.

It may just be that you received a chip that's cores are actually defective, unfortunately. :(

I'd try upping to 1.45vcore and see where that gets you. You might even want to play around with ACC settings, raising one of (or all) of the cores up and down 5% or so and see if that helps.

What bios are you using ? I needed to go from 0307 to 0313 to get acc to work with my 435.
