Hi all,

So I just bought this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227375) to use with with my new i7 920 but then I found this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231236) for cheaper than I originally paid for.

The OCZ ram runs at 1333 and 7-7-7-20 and the G.Skill runs at 1600 8-8-8-21.

The G.Skill is very tempting because of its lower price and higher clock speed but the timings are a little bit higher than the OCZ.

Would it really be worth it to RMA the OCZ ram (and pay a restocking fee to Newegg) to get the G.Skill at 1600? Would the timings really make that much difference?

Would I even be able to notice a difference?

I also have a Asus p6t deluxe if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks

I would think that any difference would only be applicable through high overclockings ,,,maybe,,,,you could probably push the OCZ to higher settings ,if that was your desire/need..:)

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I didn't even think about overclocking.

I guess I'll stick with what I have.
