ASUS Crosshair III Formula Republic of Gamers Series AMD 790FX Socket AM3 XFI Audio Card ATX Motherboard

Corsair CWCH50-1 Cooling Hydro Series H50 High-performance CPU Cooler supports LGA1156 LGA775

you might want to look at that Corsair CWCH50-1 Cooling Hydro Series H50 High-performance CPU Cooler supports LGA1156 LGA775 at littel closer, supports lga sockets? youll be needing the Amd 2+ Amd3 socket fittings or you wont be using that cooler :p

The best and really the only right way is threw the bios. Using software to overclock could potentially wreck your OS to the point that you will lose all data and have to clean install. Atleast if you go too far in bios it just wont post or it will blue screen before it even gets to the OS so please it really isnt that hard to do threw the bios.

In a chopped down sense all you have to do is raise your Bclk and maybe add some Vcore when needed leave the HT alone and also make sure you are not overclocking your RAM too much. If you have a BE processor then its even easier you just raise the multiplier an add some vcore when needed.
