Hello all. I just installed a new P5N72-T motherboard into my CoolerMaster case and can't get the thing to POST. I took out the CPU, cleaned off any smudges of thermal paste around the sides, rethermaled, and reseated. My PSU connections are correct and I have not changed any default jumper settings. I also reseated the CMOS. I've tried 1, 2, and 4 sticks of RAM at once, alternating sticks to see if I have bad RAM. NO DICE! /cry. I thank in advance anyone who can help me out here. :)

Asus P5N72-T Motherboard
1GB Corsair XMS2-6400 RAM x 4
700w NZXT power supply PP-800
Nvidia 8800GT OC x 1
Generic CPU heatsink/fan
5x Western Digital SATA HDDs
(tried one and then tried none)

Err... think I got it by using the 8-pin ATX power connector instead of the 4-pin. RTFM much? Gonna rebuild the PC now that I can power off the mobo by holding down the power button for 5 sec. BRB.

BTW:
Intel Core-2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz

After plugging in all my SATA drives, IDE optical drives, GPU, and sound card, I am again unable to POST. Any ideas?

Now when I turn off the PSU switch and hit the power button, the fans spin up and the lights come on for just a second. I'm at a loss and getting concerned. Did I blow my *800 watt PSU?

*I meant 800 watt PSU in OP.
