I am planning to buy new PC for the work. I am programmer, building and running program takes around one minute (I want to make this time as short as possible). All load go on one core so I am interested in performance of one core and RAM. I red in previous posts that the best performance would be i5 661 + OC.

What would be the best price/performance (of one core) choice (CPU/RAM/MB)?

Well, the fastest would be the Core i5 670, but it's pretty overpriced. The cheapest would be the Core i5 650, which would run single applications pretty fast, especially if you overclock.

A Core i5 650, H55 motherboard (I'm supposing you don't need anything dedicated) and 4GB of RAM should do the job well.
