Hey all, I asked a similar question a few days ago and got a whole ton of nice answers. However, the thread started to go all over the place with all types of different power supplies and mild debating.

I know now that some of better brands to go after include Antec & Corsair. However, I'm not too sure on the wattage that I will need.

This is my system:

Quad-Core Q9550
Nvidia GTX 260
4GB G-Skill
Asus P5QL Pro
4 Case Fans
1 DVD/RW
250GB WD HD

I know that the 260 manual states a requirement of at least a 500W PS. I really only have about 80-100 bucks in "entertainment funds" that I can afford to spend without having to cut back on anything else I do.

I found this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016

Although it's an Antec, it's only 550W. I know I can find higher wattage for about the same price, but I had my heart set on a modular ps. Would this be enough to be worry free?

thanks again all
