So after looking through many forums and guides, I found that turning off Intel turbo boost and EIST are best for when you are in the process of overclocking. My question though would be once you have decided on the amount you want to overclock, should they be left off or turned back on?

EIST you can leave on, but turbo boost you can only use if you're using 20 or 21 multiplier. Sometimes you'll use a lower multiplier than that. The other thing is that with a high OC turbo boost will probably crash the PC. But, turbo is a really good feature if you can still use it.
