A customer reinstalled a Domain Controller because the HD failed and he/she had to replace it. The new DC has a different name. Now other DCs are replication errors pointing to the old name. What would you do?

Are all systems in the same domain or in different domains? I don't quite understand how replacing a hard disk could change the DC name, unless your customer didn't restore from the last complete backup and instead recreated the domain while not connected to the LAN/WAN. You could demote it to a server, then join the domain and promote it to a DC.

If the old DC is dead and gone, you can simply demote/delete it from AD after you ensure all FISMO roles have been transferred off of it.
