Trayapp is driving me mad

Hello,
I've read everything I could find on this and nothing works. I have an older Toshiba Intel Celeron running windows XP. After problems with my HP printer I uninstalled the software and reinstalled. Now I get the TrayApp error on start up. It won't allow me to go onto the internet so I can't download repair programs.
I've tried running my original cd for the printer and following suggestions I've read but nothing seems to work. HELP!

where is this trayapp coming from? and why is it preventing you from accessing the internet?

you might have a virus of some sort...

if not I'd recommend get some type of anti malware ++ registry cleaning utility, so you can uninstall all the applications that came with your printer completely and clean out the registry and later reinstall everything again fresh
