Radeon 4870 Case Size?

I've just purchased a 4870 for a new system but I'm not sure what case I should get. I was planning on getting something cheap, like an Coolermaster elite 330 (£25) but I'm worried the card wont fit.

Other options are the Antec three hundred or the Coolermaster 690.

Any idea's?

The 4870 isn't too big. The times when you really have to worry is with the 4850x2 and 4870x2's.

The 4870 isn't too big. Only with the 4850x2 and the 4870x2 do you really have to worry. As long as the case isn't a compact one it should fit.

yeah size is not a problem as much as the heat it generates. I had to add an extra 120mm fan to cool the card.

Thanks. All the cases I was looking at are mid towers so should have enough room. I'll probably just get the cheap CoolerMaster and put the rest of the money somewhere else.

The Elite looks to be the same size as my Centurion and the HD4870 fits easily although you might want to make sure there are no problems with the MB.

Its an Asus P5Q SE Motherboard, so I think it should be ok...

I actually have a mid tower (Thermaltake Tsunami) and I went with a 4850 because the 4870 required cutting out the hdd bays.
