i have the m3a78 asus motherboard and its not loading the audio driver, it reads we can't find HD audio device. can someone help me on the problem................i have window xp only

Welcome to the forums!

Enable onboard sound in the bios.
Install the driver.
Check device manager.
Check the control panel sound settings.
Check volume settings. Make sure nothing is muted.
Check that the speakers are working and properly plugged in.
Check your application volume settings.

Try running the install All driver option from the motherboard dvd. then check device manager to see if it even is detected.
