Hello, just a simple question really.

I have the Asus P6T X58 motherboard and I am planning to add 2 dual slot video cards in SLI and a sound card that uses a PCI-E x1 slot. Now on this board it has 3 PCI-E x16, 2 PCI, and 1 PCI-E x1 slot.

Would it be possible to use the bottom 2 PCI-E x16 slots for SLI and have the sound card connected to the one PCI-E x1 slot? I was told that in order to have SLI to work you have to plug the video cards in the first 2 colored slots. Or, what would be the best way to be able to add in a Sound card with having 2 dual slot video cards in sli?

and if you must know, the parts im planning to get so far are:

Coolermaster HAF 932
Intel core i7 920
Coolermaster V10 LGA1366
4 X Noctua NF-P12-1300 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 1100-1300RPM
Intel X25-M 80GB 2.5IN SATA2 NCQ Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Western Digital Velociraptor WD3000HLFS 10000RPM 300GB HDD
2 X Western Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black 1TB SATA2 7200RPM 32MB in RAID 0
Corsair XMS3 Dominator GT TR3X6G2000C8GTF 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-2000 CL 8-8-8-24 Core i7 Memory W/ Fan

Help would be greatly appreciated, as I need a second opinion.

I'm almost certain that the PCIE x1 card will work on the bottom PCIE slot. You might want to wait for more opinions on this subject however.
