I've recently replaced a faulty power supply and noticed that my computer doesnt detect the cd and dvd drives that i have. The cd/dvd drives wont open and the green light thats usually on isnt even flashing too. When i click on 'my computer' the only thing that shows up is my hard drive.

I am almost 90% sure you just have bad leads. Try getting an adapter for another type of connector and see if it works. If you do have bad leads, send it back.

If you have the power connectors plugged in, looks like you have replaced a faulty PSU with another faulty PSU.
