Does this card even have Win 7 drivers?
I read the manual and it doesnt specify support for anything over Windows 2000/XP.

I don't know this specific card but often with these plug in card you need to go into the RAID setup utility when booting the system and specify that the disk(s) attached to the card are non RAID, then windows will probably see them.

Have you been into the Hardware manager to see if the DATA card have a yellow question mark against it, if so Windows does not know about the card, if not and it is show as working properly then windows built in drivers have taken care of business for you.
