Can anyone help me fix my windows xp home addition

Hello,
i ahve got a vindows xp home adition and when i turn it on all it does is run really loadly and nothing happens just the fans running anyone know how to fix it

That's not a Windows issue, that's a hardware issue. Remove the wall power, open the case and reset the BIOS (either take out the battery for a few seconds or move the BIOS reset jumper to reset it). Try it again. If it keeps doing the same thing, you need to have either the power supply or the motherboard replaced. Possibly the RAM but this issue is usually the power supply or motherboard. If the PC is more than 4-5 years old, probably not worth spending the money on repairs especially if you have to pay for the labor. the parts themselves can be cheap enough but not the cost to get them put in.
