I'm trying to install a eVGA GTX 285 in a P5N-E SLI and I'm getting no video. I've already RMAd one card and the second one shows the same symptoms. I have the Antec 650 W earthwatts PS and the slot was previously used by a 7900, so I know the slot works.

Has anyone seen this, or have any suggestions, EVGA is not very helpful.

This might be a stupid suggestion, but I assume you've tried the card in other slots that fit? Would it be possible to try the card on another motherboard?

It's also possible that the 285 isn't compatible with your mobo, and you might have to update your mobo's BIOS.

+1^ Try the card in another motherboard if u can or test it with the other slot.
PCI-E 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI-E 1.0 so there shouldnt be any issues but if those solutions didnt work, update the BIOS and it may make it right.

And be sure that 2 PCI 6 connector are connected.

If possible from 2 différent 12v Rail from your PSU. Just to be sure its not Power related.
