An AM3/DDR3/SLI(3xSLI) ASUS Mobo? They already have a crossfire one (M4A79T Deluxe). I really want to purchase the 955, but I need a new motherboard to do it, I'm still running on 939. I know I could buy a good AM2+ Mobo, but since I'm just NOW upgrading I want to get an AM3 one.

IIRC, AMD mobos are more oriented toward CrossFire, not SLI. What's your motherboard, if I may ask? I assume it supports 3xSLI?

780a and 790a chipsets support SLI and AMD. They are quite old.
Go with Intel i7 X58 if you can afford it. Supports both SLI and Crossfire.

Look into the 790 FX chipset. Doesn't support SLI though.
Supports Crossfire.

Well... I know there are crossfire ones. Thats not what I asked for....

And no I can't afford Intel.

currently there are only 2 boards from asus that does am3/ddr3 which is m4a79t deluxe and m4a78t-e. If you wanna go sli, then i think the only option is m3n-ht deluxe but that does ddr2. So to answer your question, there is currently no board in the market from ASUS that meets your requirement.

As for release dates, probably never. Gone are the days where the best chipsets for AMD systems come from Nvidia. AMD bought ATI, you get theirs now. I'm sure we'll continue to see some new ones for AMD, but I doubt they'll be top of the line.

You want tri SLI and can't afford Intel?

To chinh - I know thats why I asked about a release date.

To 4745454b - Thanks, and no triple SLI is for future purposes. Plus three 260 in SLI (and the fact I already have 2 260, so they arn't going to cost me money)is way cheaper then the toppest line INtel chip =/

I just needed a straight answer like he gave me. "No there isn't one, in fact they probably won't make one."

Lol.

EDIT - I'll just sell my 260's when the next big Nvidia GPU comes out, or go with two decent ATI's. I'm not TOO worried about it. Just kinda wanted SLI, but if its not going to happen, no big really.
