Alright now i have both the Q8200 and Q6600, and i have noticed there is a big temperature difference between them at stock speeds and voltage. Now i was thinking that the Q8200 would be cooler when idling but from Real Temp the temps on the Q8200 cores were in the high 30s mostly over 35 degrees Celsius while my Q6600 were around high 20s to 30s. I use the same cooler on both with arctic silver thermal paste. Has anyone else noticed this before? I thought it was interesting seeing the 65nm processor have a lower temp in idle than the new 45nm's. Well after full load i did notice a big difference in temps, Q6600 around 50 degrees while the Q8200 only got up to 40 degrees. Has anyone else noticed a difference? and does anyone know why?

IIRC, the new 45nm digital thermal sensors are much less accurate at low temp, like idle. That could be a larger part of it.
