i just recently got a new television. its a toshiba 40rv52u. when i plugged my computer in, it said that it was a non plug and play monitor, and now im limited to the default resolutions for non plug and play monitors. i used the custom resolution setting in the nvidia control panel, and now have my desktop running at 1920x1080, but the custom resolution doesnt show up as a choice in any of my games. the next highest resolution that fits my tv's aspect ratio is 1360x768. is there any way to allow the custom resolutions to show up as an option in the games?

i already tried changing the .ini files, but it doesnt work for fallout in fullscreen, and i cant find any .ini files for steam games.
