Graphics problems.

Recently, amongst various problems with other components in my PC, I'm having some textbook graphical issues.

Things like colours going funny, screen suddenly going black followed by a quick BSOD then restart, pixelation etc etc. All stuff that says to me as a computer hardware amateur, graphics card failure.

However, as all the other components in my PC are absolutely useless, and starting to die, I'm trying to blame it on them :p

I ordered a brand new spec build last week and it arrives today. In my current system is an Asus 8600GT OC with the little fan controller OC gear thing in one of the drive bays.

Basically, whenever I get these issues, the temperature is stable, as is the fan speed and clock speed.

Is my graphics card dead? or could it be just my lame hardware surrounding it....

The card is only 12 months old :( And as much as I'd love to fork out for a new ATI 4850, I've just spent £500 on the rest of the new hardware....

Any help is appreciated.
