Hello, I tried to upgrade my RAM from 2 to 6gb. Maximum is 8gb.
After doing this, my computer has stopped working. I have not been able to get a video signal on my monitor.
I have a Gigabyte GA-P35 DSR motherboard, Intel Duo-core processor E6850, PCI-Express 16 video card.
I have tried to remove the extra memory, I have tried using an old PCI video card, I have tried to clear the CMOS. Nothing has worked. The computer does power up, the video card fan does turn on, the CPU fan turns on. Have I shorted the motherboard and is there any way to fix this other than replacing the mainboard. Any help would be appreciated.

Double check your 4 pin power cable to your motherboard. :ouch:
