Hello guys

Can you help me here a sec please. I recently bought a 64x2 AMD 3.0ghz Windsor processor and just the other day overclocked it to 3.3ghz and it runs very stable. I am confident in its performance. And, just the other day I bought a Palit Radeon ATI 4870 512mb graphics card - I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

Here's the thing, please can you tell me if my processor or anything is going to bottleneck the GPU.

Here are my system specs.

4x1GB Corsair Dominator RAM
3.3GHZ OC'd CPU AMD Windsor (dual core)
a 580 Watts Hiper Type M PSU
A gigabyte motherboard - model GA-M68SM-S2L (rev. 1.0)

Anything else just ask me

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your help and the welcome buddy :)
Well that's good news, I'm sorta hoping my PSU wont go 'Bang' when i fit the new card! But I think it should handle it...
Cheers again!

My RAM runs at 800MHZ, with timings of 5-5-5-18

But I can reduce those timings in the BIOS right? With a bit of tweaking...?

Ah great news. Thanks coozie, thats reassuring to hear.
I was always a bit uncertain about it until recently but that makes things better. Thanks!

So all in all the card wont be bottlenecked?
