for about 6 months and its never ran as good as i hoped/expected, anyway i realised my graphics card requires a psu with min 12v rating of 26a, and my psu only has 12v 20a, do you think this i wots causing my comp to stall/freeze?
Never heard of Colorsit before, let alone Colorsit power supplies.
If your PSU says it only has 20amp on the 12V, and your GPU requires 26A, you've definitely got a problem. You could easily find yourself having instability issues, overheating your PSU, and if it's trying to push 26amps through a 20amp ability, you could find meltdown/fire as a result.
Ok i found this OCZ Stealth Xtreame 500W for £50 delivered, it has dual 12v 18amp rails, im not sure how these work so would this be enough to run my system?
