Can I use the GTX 295 on my Asus p5q motherboard? Will both cards be usable? Im returning my 4870x2 Asus tri fan because they sent it to me underclocked at 500/500 and it will not run stable at 750/900 (stock speeds).

o yea.. Mine does not "ramp up" to 750/900 during gameplay. Plus, i have a Corsair 750w PSU. Is this big enough?

That should be a potent enough PSU to run either of those cards. From what I recall, Corsair's been carving out a decent name for themselves in PSUs, so a 750w unit from them should have plenty of reliable +12v power, easily sufficient for a single dual-GPU card.

How do you know that it does not clock up?

When you say stable, you didn't mess about in the overdrive section did you?

Yes, but again, how do you know it isn't clocking up.

What utility did you use.
