Any one else have this problem? I can burn music and pictures fine. I have the right Blank dvds for the burner.. Every time i put a blank dvd into to burn something it says its full and that i have to prepare the disc.. I do this then open my burning software and it tells me to enter a blank disc.. I never had this problem with my burner in my desktop. Any help???

Welcome to the forums!

Make sure you don't have the DVD/CD-RW combo drive.
Update the firmware of the burner.
Try a different brand of disks.
Try different software.
Get a new DVD burner.
