So whats the differance between the 1055t and the 1090t besides the unlocked multiplier in the 1090t. Will the 1090t always overclock further than the 1055t? If it consistantly can, than has there been a chart made of some sort that shows if its worth the extra hundred dollars or so for that overclocking headroom?

lets see... both being 125W TDP
1090T is base clocked at 3.2ghz + unlocked multipliers
1055T is base clocked at 2.8ghz

1090T has 400mhz lead over the 1055T right off the bat, and we're not even counting the effect of multipliers yet.

doesn't take a genius to figure out that 1090T will overclock consistantly over the 1055T.
my 1090T runs stable air-cooled at 4.3ghz, - until someone with a 1055T that can do better (on air)- this case is closed

and what about the turbo core speed?do they perform similar after overclocking 1055t to speed of 1090t? and how about your overclocked at 4.3Ghz performs in turbocore speed?

Took me 5 minutes to get a 1055T stable at 4.2Ghz on a Biostar 890FX board with a Mega Shadow.

1055T is the way to go. 1090T is for noobs who can't overclock via fsb :)
wow.so are those results achievable on a 785 chipset ?i am having biostar ta785ge 128 motherboard.i am confused between 1055t and 1090t.also i am a noob in OC'ing
