How to copy content from laptop to pc

Hello,
how can i copy all my files from my laptop to my desktop? and is it possible when my laptop cant open??

You need to be able to start windows on your laptop to copy files.
If the laptop won't start then you would need to do one of the following:

-try booting into a recovery disk (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/) and then copy files onto USB
- take the hard disk out and attach it to another computer and then copy files
- install another copy of windows on the laptop (don't format partition) and then copy

None of these options are very simple I'm afraid

Does the laptop just not boot ?
