Windowx xp works fine but fails to properly recognize the raid controller...does anyone know where I might be able to find XP sp2 drivers for this raid controller?

I believe it is an ALI m1647 chipset.

The ALI m1647 is not the RAID controller. The RAID controller should be a HighPoint HPT372 and the drivers can be downloaded from http://www.techspot.com/drivers/dr [...] ion/1963/.
