Hi.
o.k after reading a lot about cpu's multi cores performance I know exactly what cpu to choose for my average gaming machin. It's Phenom X3 tripple core 8650 2.3ghz .
But what M.B/chipset to choose for it ?I realy don't no.
The major purpose for the machine is gaming and A 9800GT VGA card will be part of the platform.
What is the best deal (performance Vs $) for me?
I will more than happy to get good articles links that will help with my decision.

Hi

Here is a list of ASUS boards compatiblbe with Socket AM2+. Go through the list and see which boards are compatible with the AMD Phenom 8650 Triple-Core. If you buy, make sure the original bios version is compatible with AMD Phenom 8650 unless you have an older CPU for flashing. For non ASUS boards maybe someone else can help you with that.
