Is it worth it for me to ugrade my Toshiba Satellite m35-s359 from 2-256mb(512mb total) to 2-1gb(2gb total)? Or should I just do 2-512mb(1gb total)?

well if your running xp, then you could buy one stick of 1gb of ram and have 1.25gb of ram to save money...you will still notice a huge performance gain...if you feel its not enough, then buy the other gig of ram...I personally have a fujitsu T4010d tablet running on 1.5gb of ram with windows 7 and find it more than enough...

Look to see what you laptop is capable of using. I bought a Toshiba Satellite about a year ago with 2gigs and I was thinking of upgrading and discovered that 2gigs was the max it could use.

I would go with 2GB, if you're spending the money and time to upgrade it anyway.
