So today I removed my video card for the first time so I can clean all the dust in the inside of my computer. As clumsy as I am I accidentally broke the slot lock lever which I guess locks the video card into the slot (bummer). I thought it was no problem at all since the video card still fits pretty tightly into the slot. So I booted up my Pc and all I hear is a loud, non-stop, continuous beep. I tried several times and it still does the same thing. I had to connect my monitor to the on board display. So I searched around google and I get several answers.
It can be a BIOS beep code which I checked out for my Phoenix BIOS and I found nothing on that.
It can be a memory problem, but I re-inserted all my RAM cards.
It can be a power supply problem which I have yet to find out
or it just that broken slot lock which is not locking my computer into place.
