be looking at for the dishes 30" and under?

Thank you

The BlackBird PCI ver inside a good pc (2ghz + & 512 meg DDR ram +) and a
good DVI out card will do HDTV.

And thei fixes come much fater for the pci ver aswell...

Thank you for the info. I was actually leaning towards a PC solution
because I want to turn it into my own Tivo as well. I like that I will be
able to pickup wild feeds and other. Can the PCI card you're referring to
auto rotate the dish? Will it automatically seek out and program in all
available feeds or do I need to tell it where every satellite is located?
Is there any specific software you recommend to run the box as a PVR as
well?

Thank you for the information. It is much appreciated.

Hypothetically speaking, can any of these cards decode digicipher,
nagravision or other scrambled channels?

Thank you

Let me rephrase that...

If I wanted to subscribe to something like HBO, can I do that through a FTA
receiver or must I use dish network?

How does the descrambling work if I want to subscribe to different channels
that use different scrambling methods?

I'm talking a dish size of 30" or smaller. I doubt I can put up a 6'
dish...

Thank you.
