I have a T|C and enjoy the wireless connection when an AP is available and a modem slab to use when traveling but I am curious to know if there is a way to directly cable to a 10 BaseT network? I see no advantage to using a Palm for surfing tied to a laptop when the laptop would offer better viewing and speed.

Is there a solution out there?

You're probably looking for an Ethernet Cradle. They are hard to find in
stores, but there are occasionally a few on eBay.

Try Softic PPP (I am not sure if this is exactly what you want). You
need to run it on a PC through which you connect your palm, and
configure the connection on the palm.
