I want to add a Velociraptor for RAID0,
I have
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136375&cm_re=velociraptor-_-22-136-375-_-Product
And I'd like to add
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136322&cm_re=velociraptor-_-22-136-322-_-Product

But they have different model numbers, and in the description they have different latencys listed. The first one comes in a box, the second one is a bare drive.
Aren't they the same thing? Assuming the reason the latency is different is one is labeled as nominal, and the model number is different due to being in a box vs a bare drive?

Thanks

They should work. Ultimately it will factor in on what you are using to handle the RAID. Is this a RAID controller (either motherboard or add-in card? Which model?) or software RAID within Windows?

The vast majority of the time, with consumer grade equipment, it will work fine. It's only really enterprise level gear that gets super picky on drives being absolutely identical.
