Internet Explorer - Google & Yahool Search

When I am in Internet Explorer (8) and try to do a google or yahoo search I get a msg HTT 400 Bad Request, web site can not be found, and search does Not occur. Other than the search, I can go to other web sites without any problems. Anyone have a clue as to what is causing my searches Not to function? Are there Option in the tool area that I can set?? Thanks in advance for your help. Lost and don’t want to reload OS XP :<

Tried reloading I8, loaded good, but problem still there. Decided to bkup files and do a complete xp reload. All went back to normal, must have been some sort of virus?? Thanks anyway for your input.

I hope you have a good AV program. And don't forget to use "Backup" to an external disk regularly!
