I need a 4x AGP Graphics Card (that will downgrade to a 2x AGP if needed) for a friends PC that I'm repairing. The card needs to have a D-Sub port and a DVI port. The person is using the card to: surf the web, write docs, play minor games with light graphics needs, watch movies and view a few picts. The card I pulled from the board was an AGP 1x/2x card. I was told on this forum that AGP 4x will downgrade to 2x if needed. The PC has a Pentium 4 Processor, 1 GB of RAM and Windows XP. This is not a gaming PC or a PC for a Power User!
What I needed is help finding a card for under $50 dollars that is reliable (please provide links if you can). What do yall suggest?
