This board lists at a low of 135$ US and I've been thinking of downgrading it on my new build. It seems to have a lot of nice features over lower end Gig boards, but I'm not sure if my system will truly benefit from them or just cost me 50$. Also, what's the main difference between a P35 and P45 chipset?

P45 is newer than P35 and can handle a higher stable OC than P35 usually. Mind listing full specs? What is it used for? Gaming,etc?

It'll be used for gaming (mainly total war series and europa universalis, starcraft 2 when it comes out), internet, tv card, and some low end video formatting/editing.

The lower end gig boards look to be extremely similar. The only differences I could see was dual lan and more firewire. The pci ports and such seem to be the same and I could save around 50$US. Here's a link to all possibles, some are very similar in price, I'm not sure about paying for features I won't use.
