Between the OCZ DDR3 1600 Platinum and Gold, which one overclock & perform better?

yes. it has tigher timings and better heatspreaders.

tighter timings= higher performance..

better heatspreaders = more room to OC

worth every penny.

my bad..

im not sure the situation at canada, but in USA a price drop is expected. its just the marketing trend i observed.
