Lost c drive in my computer

cant access internet and is very vary slow. lost c drive. how do i restore?

I can but when I try to get on the internet it asks me to open with all the programs on the computer. When I pick the recomended program it asks me to run or save. I run it then it goes to the internet but never opens. It goes back to the ? run or save. I tried to restore the system but again it cant access the internet until I open with a saved program. ]
Does this make any sense to you at all?

Control panel/adminictrative tools/computer management/disk management

Can you see your C drive in there? What does it say, does it show up as C drive?

start button > run > gpedit.msc

Now move to

user configuration > administrative templates > windows components > windows explorer

double click on

"Hide these specified drives in My Computer"

and select "Disabled" or "Not configured"

and also check it out in

"Prevent access to drives from My Computer"(This is below the "Hide These Specified Drives in my computer option")
