My PC is a HP Compaq dc7100 CMT(PP956US) and the RAM I have inserted already is DDR PC3200 (based on a system scan from crucial.com)

I'm just looking for some affordable memory for gaming. I don't know much about computers, but I do know that inserting the wrong memory can bust my kit :na:

Thank you!

The RAM listed is the same speed, but RAM can be tricky at times with voltage requirements and mixing DIMMs with varied specs. Just depends on the system, chipset, etc. Run the HP Compaq dc7100 through these memory configurators and buy RAM guaranteed to work in your system. Send an email to support if you can't figure it out.

You want something that has the same voltage and same timings as your current memory
-OR-
Replace your current memory with a new kit and sell your old memory on ebay.
In that case, any DDR400 (pc3200) memory will be fine.
